Take a look at lot 3015
Edward VIII? Really? Crowned May 12, 1937?
And that is on the NGC Slab

That thing is one of those narsty CoinCraft abominations from the mid 1990's. Stupid is as stupid does.
Well, just Love coins, period.
Just wanted to note that this piece is listed in Brown's British Historical Medals (Volume 3) as #4302:
AV, AR 33 by MCM (probably W. McMillan)
AV RR; AR C.
It was struck as a memento of the coronation that never occurred, much like a Superbowl Champions t-shirt with the losing team on it (wrong, but not in any way false).
Best regards,

The dies are extremely polished for the issue and the lettering is rounded.

Worth melt and not one cent more. Is there any collector base for things like this?

After looking at the medal again, it does not have the look one would expect for such an item- However, I have no doubt it is real and likely quite desirable. I suspect it was given worthy scrutiny
