I know I know its only 19 cards. Boy what a pain it has been just to get all 19 in Gem Mint PSA 10 holders though. Took me 5 years to complete since the start. I am glad it is complete err I mean up to date
Next I hopefully will complete the Derek Jeter Basic Set and the Mariano Rivera Basic Topps set. I am not sure which I will be able to complete next. It depends on what cards become available first. To have the Basic Jeter set up to date. I need 29 more PSA 10 cards. For the Rivera Basic Topps set I need 8 more PSA 10 cards. Eventually I plan to have them both up to date.
Thank you everyone for the congratulations. I am stoked to have this set at 100%. Not to rush ahead but I am psyched to get the 2012 Topps Jeter PSA 10 next year. I hope they do a cool batting picture. Maybe a picture showing his inside out swing or the swing that gave him hit #3,000 for next year. That would be really cool.
Awesome collection. Funny that he didn't get the "All-Star Rookie" designation until his fifth Topps card. Nowadays he would be in AA and he would get it on his BDPP card.
Great set!!! Now you have to crack them out and get each one signed. Make sure you and Jeter are very careful because you still want the cards to grade Gem MT 10 in PSA/DNA holders. Can you imagine if such a collection existed?!?!
A few weeks ago. I also completed another PSA 10 set that isn't recognized or just isn't added to the registry. The Derek Jeter Basic Finest set. I always liked the Finest cards. They really are nice cards imo. I noticed with getting these the 2001 Finest was the hardest to get. I had to submit the one I have just to find one graded. I knew the card had a really great shot at being Gem Mint.
Way to go! Very cool to see a modern Topps baseball player set. The only thing that's bad is how unimaginative Topps has been in the last 20 years with the set designs...

I agree. The Bowman issues are worse. They are in a rut of black bordered cards and lame pics. Topps at least changed the card colors 1998-2003, and in 2007...
I am only going after basic cards. I have a lot of holes on the Topps Heritage but not the A&G. There is no basic card for 2010 A&G. My main goal on Topps Heritage is just the basic cards but I picked up or had graded some inserts too.
