1970s Topps baseball poppage SCANS ADDED!

Just got these back today. Nothing earth-shattering, but I was very happy about the PSA 9 1975 mini #659 Apodaca which is a tough card in the mini set. The Brett I pulled from a cello pack. The 77 OPCs were all from the group rip. Was kind of bummed the 77 Mets team card didn't grade as it was real sharp. The 75 OPCs were really nice, too, and I think I'm going to start collecting that set now, too. The PSA 9 75 OPC Dempsey is a 1/1, FWIW. I just can't figure out the 79s for the life of me. Of all the sets from the 70s, that one drives me nuts when it comes to finding mint or gem mint cards.

    Good eye there! Actually, I've noticed that Shea is in the background on a number of cards from the 70s from players from all different teams. I think it's because Topps was based in Brooklyn originally and Sy Berger who handled the player card contracts was here in NY, so I guess he got photos of guys when they came into town with their respective teams.

    Totally agreed. there are a LOT of 60s and 70's cards with pics at Shea and Old Yankee Stadium.
