  • This is a serious question ........didnt the cost to grade these cards exceed the sales price? If so, why get them graded at all? Just wondering from an old time collector who still has 99.9% of his stuff "raw"...............

The answer to that question is yes but in explanation I didn't have these cards graded. Im selling them for the price i paid to be fair to the buyer. You can't always go off of the card grading price but whats behind the slab.

    Doctor

Also, and this may not apply to this specific situation but there are times when someone sends in
say 20 cards and one of them grades so well that it alone made the sub profitable. the other cards
are then simply sold off for whatever the person can get. All it sometimes takes is one home run.

    Good for you.
  • Thanks for the feedback. I guess an additional reason might be to verify that they are authentic. All this said, I am keepin mine raw! Sorry ,Grading Companies!!!

Doc I understand. I like the concept of protecting the cards and having them labeled. I love using the registry as a set tracker. The PSA and SGC slabs are great.......
