Opinions please of my Verlander purchase..

Just purchased form ebay a 2005 Leaf Certified Materials Emerald /5 Justin Verlander for $135. The card is graded a BGS 9 auto 10. I am not as up on some of the newer issues as should be, but thought /5 was a big deal. Did I over pay? Let me know what you think?

I understand with sterling like "wood" cards or "suede" cards and printing plates, but recoloring it and lowering it is damn dumb
