Opinions please of my Verlander purchase..

Just purchased form ebay a 2005 Leaf Certified Materials Emerald /5 Justin Verlander for $135. The card is graded a BGS 9 auto 10. I am not as up on some of the newer issues as should be, but thought /5 was a big deal. Did I over pay? Let me know what you think?image

    The only thing I don't like about new crap is that they recolor a card put a lower number on it and it demands more money....

    I understand with sterling like "wood" cards or "suede" cards and printing plates, but recoloring it and lowering it is damn dumb

    Are you likely to find another one of those ever again? If not, don't worry too much about the $ involved.

    It may have been topside of the current market, but Verlander is dealing; if he keeps it up, he's a definite CYA candidate. I think you could have done worse.
