Minor eBay issue

Bought some modern junk on eBay and it was poorly packed. Cards have top, left bent corners. The seller states no returns in his listings. I paid by Paypal and CC, what hope do I have of getting my money back?... It is not a lot, $14, but the cards are useless. I emailed him and said I would take replacements if he had them and I am still waiting to hear back....

Um you get a full refund from Paypal when they rule in your favor for a SNAD claim.

That easy and this is why sellers are SOL against people out to rip them off.

Not saying you are out to rip them off, I had a similar issue yesterday with a comic though and I just opened a SNAD claim due to it being damaged in shipping.

Seller is responsible to get it to you in the stated condition no matter what.

Thats good, the whole order was $39.50, I just want the bad ones replaced or refunded or something else of equal value....
  • File significantly not as described, say the item was externally and internally damaged and say a full refund will be ok...

They either refund the entire purchase saying you keep the items or tell you to send them back( MAKE SURE TO PUT DELIVERY CONF ON THEM) and you give pp that number and get a full refund after they are dlvd....

I can't figure out why sellers put "No Refunds" in their auction descriptions. If you receive the item and it isn't as described, they have no choice but to take it back if you file and win a claim.

Putting "No Refunds" in the auction discourages scammers, if only slightly. But every little bit helps.

This is his exact response and he denied the refund claim.....

"YOU CAN SEND THEM IN TO PANINI FOR REPLACEMENT I ASURE YOU WE DID SEE ANY DAMAGE WHEN THE WERE SENT"

So he (probably mistakenly) is admitting they were damaged!

Well this will be easy enough, open the SNAD via Paypal saying the items were heavily damaged as well as the outside of the packaging. Proceed to ship back with a confirmation # and get a refund when Paypal rules in your favor upon delivery of the returned cards.

Oh yeah forgot to add damage every single card before shipping them back since the POS seller refuses to step up and refund you due to his poor packaging. Make the seller pay for not only poor shipping, but poor customer service and the refusal to make things right.

Mean as hell to damage them all? Sure but it is time shiatty sellers like this one learn a lesson.
  • Also be sure to leave the appropriate feedback for the seller.

hhmag70 is dead on, make sure to leave feedback stating this turd packages cards poorly and then will try and stiff ya if they get damaged.
