No. I don't really watch up, but being from Garner and living in the Raleigh area, the media shoved it down our throats. I tuned in last night to see what all the fuss was about, and these kids got TALENT!! Even the ones that got kicked off can sing their buns off!

I was glad to see Pia go; she can sing, but she sounds boring and played out. As for looks, that schnoz kills it.

To me James and Haley were the most polished performers, but Scotty will have a huge, long lasting market and has grown more than anyone. Lauren is from my stomping grounds, and is awesome, she's just got a little growing to do...her skin's too thin.

I saw the first half of the last Oprah show, but, regrettably, I had to run to the furniture store to get some design ideas during the last half.

We picked up a fabulous green swivel armchair to bring out the subtle hues found in the beautiful print "The Living Shore," by little-known artist Toni Carver. We've used this painting as the design inspiration for our space.

Thank you for recommending that color pallet again Neil; as always, your flare for color is unparalleled.

The judges are partially responsible for the final two in AI.

It's not the same without Simon.

Lauren lost - as she should - last week she screwed up a song - missed the key change - two judges made excuses for her - if Simon were there - he would've told her to pack her bags.

Was not excited about the final matchup.

Also AI is wearing thin - they made many promises this season that they didn't keep - e.g. they were supposed to have more "decade weeks" - and 80s week was scratched in favor of Elton John songs.

IMO - neither Tyler nor Lopez are capable of serious criticism.

Many bloggers believe they decided a long time ago to insure a female won this year and Lauren was the "anointed one" - even tho she lacks the experience and maturity to belt out a tune.

I like Lauren and Scotty - but they were - IMO - 4 and 5th round finishers - but survived due to the way the judges went about their private agenda.

Tyler: quote: "I pick Lauren tonite over Scotty because they better looking" - and I don't think he was totally joking!

I've watched AI since it started and this season started out to be very strong - did not enjoy the finale - kind of a snoozer for me.

This is just my opinion - so no pitchforks please!!!!!

Me either Steve. Survivor is another one. I watched Season 1, cause it was new and enjoyable. After that one, everything is so predictable. When will they give that series a rest???
