Stacks Bowers and Ponterio June 2011 Baltimore auction

The mexican 8 reales are strong. Wow, I thought the last auction in March was big. This auction features as many Republic 8 reales as the prior one, with 300 + lots and 90% graded.
The market for high grade mexican 8's has taken off and drawing fresh coins out of hiding. The auction contains approximately 100 8 reales graded 64 and higher. We will see if the market has the appetite.

Lots of nice coins to enjoy, I have picked out a couple of favorites.

Some nice cap'n'rays there. Too bad I'm still recovering from CICF and my vacation. Plus there are only 2 pre-1843 Zacatecas 8 Reales, so I would probably just watch the W4I stuff.
