Well, I know it seems crazy to buy a coin for 6k just from the 'bay based on pictures alone. Wonder if that was a real sale. I am in no position to judge this coin.

Given the number of fake coins and slabs coming from China, I wouldn't bid on such a coin offered on eBay. Mind you, I'm not taking a position on the authenticity of the coin in question.
Well, 6K is not that high for a MS Chinese coin, buying on ebay is just like buying on HA. In fact, buying on ebay is pretty safe if you know what you are doing since you can always return it if it is SNAD.
