I thought waffled coins weren't legal to own? I'm pretty sure this is the case in Canada, where they have been waffling the old 100% nickel 5c/10c/25c coins for a while now. Although it could be different in other countries, especially since it's pre-Euro coinage that's been demonetized.
official set of the Dutch Mint (2002) can't remember how I much I paid for this set , probably not more then $ 10 I think there are more sets of pre-euro coins such as francs, peseta's, drachma's, marks etc..
collector of Greek banknotes - most beautifull world banknotes - Greek & Roman ancient coins.
Thany you all for the replies, makes complete sense now. Can't wait to receive it. That would actually be a good collection theme, pre-euro cancelled coins.

I wonder if that's actually an official issue. The packaging looks similar to the proper sets. Maybe it's a mint souvenir item? Pretty neat
