Grading question/Staple Hole

I have a 1954 Red Heart card that looks to be NM+, but there is a staple hole. Would that be an automatic PSA 1?

Thanks!

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

That is a shame too. The card might be worth a premium as a PSA 1 because of the eye appeal however....
  • Hope they miss the staple hole when grading!

It's a automatic like a card that looks like a possible "8" with the smallest of crease gets cut down to a "5". Ouch!

  • Haven't seen the card but it looks like a 10 GEM MINT from Pro Grading
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

  • it would also be a 10 by Graded Rookies Authenticated.

FWIW, I subbed two '34 Gold Medals of the Dean Bros. to SGC. Both had a ph at the top where some kid in 1934 pinned 'em to the wall. Cards were otherwise SGC 70's. Both came back SGC 20.
