Emperor Valerian, reverse RESTITVT ORIENTIS (Restoration of the East), Tyche of Antioch presenting emperor with victory wreath and sceptre. Sear attributes it to an "unknown Syrian mint", from 256-260 AD. Listed at $25 in VF. Example on Wildwinds.

Alas for emperor Valerian, his "restoration" of the east was short-lived; Valerian was captured in battle against the revitalized Persian empire, under the newly installed Sassanian dynasty.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
    Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD. B)
