Would she grade ?

Ive never been one for slabbed coins and have no intentions of having it done to any coin but i am of course keenly interested in various grades given and strive for quality where it's attainable.Which brings me to this little gem. I can't find a single flaw on her other than the dark patches, i don't know what those are but they don't detract from a lovely coin either really.I'd like to solicit opinion on what kind of grade a coin like this might attain ?

    I say 'no'.
"Gold is money, and nothing else" (JP Morgan, 1912)

"“Those who sacrifice liberty for security/safety deserve neither.“(Benjamin Franklin)

"I only golf on days that end in 'Y'" (DE59)
  • It's helpful if you might care to point out why not , cheers

Because the reverse would appear to have quite a bit of corrosion showing....IMO, Code 97; Environmental Damage

Unfortunately there are environmental factors that would come into play here

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

  • Thanks Lads , it'll help me avoid such things in future. The dark spots are not severe but i've taken it on board , thanks again.
