    I've had some of those Swedish pieces from that era (well, I've had the Nappy 3 50c's too), but not that nice. What was the bullion weight of those Swedish ones? I forget. Wasn't it something weird like .630 or something?

    It appears to be although I don't know the history behind it. Looks like a queen...

    I noticed that right off and think it would have to be Queen Christina, a Swedish queen who gave up her throne and took the vows and entered a nunnery in Rome in the 17th century. A story only marginally less fascinating than the formers, because it was without some of the murderous intrigues.

    on the 25 ore from Sweden-Is that the small or large cross variety?

    olmanjon, I tried to find out but couldn't find a picture of the two together.

    I'm assuming it's the large cross variety. If small variety
    I'm looking forward to $400 plus when it sells, otherwise I'm thinking
    the large could hit $75 to $100
