More pics plz

Would you buy a card if the seller wouldnt send you more pics? Not saying anything is wrong with the card but sure would like a better close up. Been chasing this card for 3 years thought I had one in a SGC 88 earlier this week but the seller backed out.

If a card is $500+ which this is and they refuse to send you more pics then something is suspect.

Now if this is a possible purchase through eBay / Paypal then hell he can mspaint you a picture of the card and it doesn't matter. If unhappy send that thing back. image

It is on ebay so I could use paypal/cc and be double protected. But I sure would like more pics not sure if the card has a tilt or if the case is cracked.

This is his response for pics...

the card is graded PSA 7 and there are no qualifiers, if centering was bad or there were marks on the back, there would be a PSA qualifier along with the grade but there is none. I dont have time to take and upload and send you pics.

I don't think you can assume there is anything wrong with the card becuase of his answer.

You definately can assume the seller is either lazy or not into customer service. Taking a few extra scans on a relatively expensive card for a good buyer is a must if requested. I would be very concerned about the customer service of a seller like this as it can't take but two minutes to accommodate your request. I doubt you are the only buyer who would not mind seeing the additional scans.

    Good luck either way.

If really interested in the card, I would lowball him on price because he has not provided as much value. Then, if you're unhappy upon receipt, send it back.

He has told me what price he will accept but wont send more pics. Since it was a b/o I sent him a msg asking his lowest price..He has listed this card for about 2 months.

    His feedback: (721) 97.8

You would think that he would at least have a scan of the back for a $500+ card.

If you are happy with the price and you've been searching for 3 years, don't let the piss poor customer service of a memberhead stand in your way of getting it. You are not rewarding the seller by buying it, you are rewarding yourself.

If you need additional scans to make your decision and the seller won't provide them, then walk away.

However, if you do make the decision to buy it on ebay and pay with paypal, and you get it and it doesn't meet your preference but does meet the grade assigned by PSA, then I personally think it would be poor form to send it back and would make you no better of a buyer then the seller is a seller.

Some people will never learn good customer service skills, but I would not let that stand in the way of something I REALLY wanted, unless it was totally egregious (sp?).

Yes, it does seem to have a slight tilt to it.
  • The pop report is 669 for this grade, should have no problem finding one from a seller that makes you feel comfortable.

Definitely looks like there is a tilt ... there is more white border on the top left than the bottom left. From the very small picture that you provide, it still looks like a real sharp card... the colors look real good. HOWEVER, that tilt would probably bother me ... if I got it for a good price (less than what an average "7" goes for) I might buy it. If you are buying for your personal collection YOU have to determine if the tilt is something that does not bother you.

Thanks for the help...guess Im still looking...I thought it had a tilt but wanted a second opinion
  • Yah, if he can't get a close up/figure out how to angle it so flash/glare doesn't do what it is doing just avoid - something is fishy - or he's retarded - either way... avoid!, Yes definitely a little oc/tilted to the left.
