Here is an unsettling thought about our hobby. We are a bunch of guys that collect cardboard pictures of other guys. Just think about that. We're all crazy.

I only ever look at the back of the cards, never the front.

more unsettling is that many collectors know much more about the pieces of cardboard than the sports/players depicted on the cards.

I'm attempting to earn the right to reply to veteran's posts without getting blasted. Not there yet.. but had to jump in here.

That is one funny post. My wife actually asked me a couple years ago why I wanted 'man cards'. I really had no explanation for her. She gave in. We're still good.

(that Score Canseco card is the one I got busted on by her, she freaked on that)
