In the stacks sale upcoming?

But he just bought most of them in 2009?

QDB has a long history of building collections and selling them off. Arguably, he is his own best customer. (Sound familiar? image )

Has he ever talked about a core collection that he has built since his early days? I imagine there would be some fantastic pieces there...

Hayden, he has had a long time collection of counterstamped large cents that numbers approximately 700 pieces

Maybe he was just speculating on some coins that would not otherwise make reserve and he thought would do well in the future?

I saw a couple of the pieces marked from his collection. I didn't notice anything really special though. Decent enough coins but not really rare or extremely high grade in the areas I collect.
