Great Location
good dealers
excellent coins to see and buy
I thought it was crowded-especially considering the weather

This is my one grip

People who sit down need to be in close to the table- space is at a premium

When you get out of the chair- push it back in close to the table to keep the isles more clear

I wish I had $5 FOR EVERY CHAIR I moved into the dealer table and I would be rich... seriously

I bought 5 coins and the German notgeld coin set that I was fasinated with-

    My pet peeve is those inconsiderate folks who will stand at a table with the chair BEHIND them. Why? Just push the damned chair aside or in, and all is well.

    ...or those who congregate and talk in the already narrow aisles, further blocking traffic.

    But you know what, there are cultures and customs from all over the world at that show, so I cut them some slack and try to be polite and pleasant to all.

    Mexican Coin Company is there this year. I didn't see many Philippine coins, but then again, I wasn't really looking. Several dealers had Mexican cap and rays 8s.

    show was excellent this year.... other than cramped quarters... it is very nicely done... we moved a huge amount of coins if under 2 hours.... basically sold almost everything we brought down....

    One thing we did not bring with us.....was a large amount of modern Canada items.... we have them going out to the Long Island Melville show tommorow SUN

    so if anyone wants some SUPER blow out deals.... cash and carry... we are talking about some great stuff and it will be priced to move!!!! hint hint... it is an early am show...be there 9am by noon dealers are packing up....

    mexican coin company....they sold the 65's they brought with them before I got there....I snapped up the only 66 theyhad and it is a pl.

    I also bought from them a really nice ngc 55 1823 mexico 8 reale....nice luster and surfaces relatively unmarked......I will try to get pics.

    Hayden, judging by the coins you are selling on ebay and shown in your sig, you would LOVE the NY International show. Plan on it next year 6-8 January (early-bird on 5 January) if you can stand the weather.
