Guy's,
Got a little bored today with the time off from work for the Holiday's and started to take pics of my collection.
To start I will share my Mattingly Collection. Later on I will share some of my Cano stuff & NY Giants Stuff.
Hope you guys enjoy.

<< <i>If you get good enough to forging his signature you can have an even bigger collection. >>
I don't know Mattingly's sig at all. So are we looking at all fakes in your opinion?
Pretty strong accusation if that is what you are saying.
Just wanted to share some stuff.
Just FYI:
Chair has Ironclad COA
2000 OMLB has MLB coa and matches mlb web site
Sharpie signed ball has JSA coa
Both posters & Bobblehaed were wigned in person.
1985 MVP ball also has Ironclad & MLB coa's & holograms.
The cards were mine when I collected as a kid......
Not sure what he meant.....
<< <i>Doubt he knows either. >>
LMAO - nice mattingly collection!
Yeah, this is the problem with autos
You never know
Who came up with this ??? Auto collecting
Wouldnt it be better to pass these guys a jar & have them wizz in it ?
We're talking DNA here & 100% way of knowing whose it is

+1
Nice collection.
I started a few years ago collecting with my little guy. Learned alot in a short amount of time. Now I try to get everything in person were possible.
Thats why I like this board alot. There is so much to learn about card collecting & this board really opens your eyes to the ins & outs. Glad I joined.
<< <i>Im not saying their fake....but do you notice the "D" only matches on the posters and none of the others are consistant?
Nice collection. >>
I know exactly what you mean, I have been a big Mattingly fan since I was a kid. If you look back at his 80's stuff you wouldn't ever think that was his sig. These guys are always changing the way they sign. At least his is a full name
Thanks Guys.
<< <i>Looks like Dan Mattingly to me >>
Big Mattingly fan here. I have two Mattingly autos that I got in person when I was a kid (spring training) and both look like "Dan" Mattingly, esp the baseball. Again, I know they're legit because I witnessed him signing both items. I've also noticed the "Dan" phenomenon with other autos of his.
<< <i>Very
Mine to,great stuff, always that much better when your kids involved!

Not a problem,
I can take a joke with the best of them.
The chair is one of my fav's also. The sig is lite towards the back of the seat but it looks good in person.
Thanks again for all your posts.
Happy New Year !!!!
Here's the beauty of buying autograph stuff for your collection....who cares if the authenticity can be questioned? If you're not planning on selling it, then as far as you care it's been signed.
I bought a game-used Steve Smith Miami Heat jersey with his signature a long time ago. The autograph looked different than some stuff I had that I knew he had signed. I stressed about it for a while until I got a signature in person on some of his shoes and he signed it exactly like the jersey. Bottom line, these guys change their signatures, especially when they're sigining things that are different sizes.
Enjoy the fantastic collection. It's a great one.
