2010 Bowmam Baseball Chrome Blaster Box - Is it worth the rip?

Have some downtime during the holidays and I saw a few 2010 Bowman Chrome Blaster Boxes are the local Target. I usually don't buy baseball, but is this product worth the rip? I know that it doesn't have the same refractors are hobby.

For kicks I opened a box of these a week ago. All of the cards were severely curved. It was weird. No hits at all. Pretty much a boring box. Good luck with yours!

Thanks Jeff. Curved card? I guess they better see a doctor.

I haven't bought any baseball this year, so I might go ahead and buy myself a stocking stuffer.

The product was overproduced, so hits are few and far between... even those busting hobby cases are getting hosed on Bowman Chrome... Most of the cards
aren't worth much at the moment and many of the base autos are selling in $4 range.

and like Jeff mentioned... the cards are the poorest quality control I've seen from Topps on a premium product... the cards mostly have a curve to them and it won't be hard to find them damaged, miscut, or greatly off centered. It's almost like Topps was overwhelmed being the only MLB product this year.

I did buy a case of 2010 Chrome Football. I think they cranked up the presses as well on this one. Plus there hits were down. I don't plan to pre-buy anymore new Topps products. I'm going to wait to see how they pan out first.

Ever since Topps was purchased by Eisener & Co, the quality and value of the product has declined.

You can get hobby boxes at 40-45 bucks and thats a good deal as if you hit colored autos, Sano or Chapman it can be fun.

However, nothing is selling outside of color over 40 bucks so if you don't hit a colored auto you will take a kick in the pants.
