T-206 Honus Wagner card


There is a story on the wire that the buyer of the newly discovered Honus Wagner card that was auctioned by Heritage missed the 30 day deadline to pay and Heritage found another buyer.

    Was the bid good to begin with? This can't look good for Heritage.

    No and it looks worse for the poor wretch that didnt pay up.

    The dude with 7 sports shops was the deadbeat. The follow-up bidder was a doctor.

    ya he was the deadbeat.... and it was 7 shops in SOUTHeast, not Northeast

    Still overpaid for that card, but this sale gained alot of publicity, so this Wagner will be the most identifiable of all of them........ mainly because of how many photos of it are on the internet now, and its unique damage.

    the card is super Poor grade, but still has OK eye appeal
