Here are the highlights from the recent unopened stuff I bought and from some of the Topps sets I bought. The '69's were all from a set I bought for $900 that already has the Mantle and Jackson in 6 holders and the Fingers, Mays, and other stars in 7 holders.

    Seems like some nice grades, congrats!

    Don't they give ".5" as grades too? Seems odd that you did not get one half grade...

    I hardly ever get half grades. I've sent in well over 1000 in the past 2 years and I've only gotten a few in all of those subs.

    I only collect packs which they do not give half grades on, but that whole .5 system of resubmitting just seems like a scam and detriment to their grading system.

    no, the sub was 55 cards and there wasn't a single half grade. 4 of them got the N6 qualifier. The ones I ommitted were oddballs or commons that I only subbed to get 10's and weren't from the stuff I just opened or from any of the sets I bought.

    LOL. If I had a nickel for all the auctions I've seen saying "Pop 1" like that, when there are dozens graded higher.

    Yep, it looks like the hardest of the "often submitted" cards to get in high grade. The other cards at 40+ 10's have FAR less subs.

    be happy not to get 1/2 grades , I have found the 1/2 grades are a way to not give the next grade up which is where the card would have gone pre 1/2 grades.

    But, given that .5 grades DO exist, why wouldn't you want the highest grade available??

    minus 10% discount is $126 and the average VCP on the Reggie is $105 so it ALMOST paid for the entire box, my bad. The PSA 7 Henderson, the other Henderson I got in the box (probably a 6) and the other 497 cards probably ENTIRELY paid for it.

    Yeah, but Tommy's card is legit so it should sell for a premium. It doesn't have 4 short edges.
