RIP Walt Dropo (1923-2010)

Walt was the 1950 AL Rookie of the Year and also tied a MLB record with hits in 12 consecutive plate appearances...Was a 3 sport star at the Univ. of CT and could have played professionally in the NFL and the NBA as well.

He was also very generous with TTM autograph seekers

    I met a few times at card stores signing autographs in the early 90's since there was not a lot of people there I was able to talk to him for quite a while. I have to try and find that autograph now.
