Best TRADE you ever made

I love the thread of the best deal you ever got so I figured since I don't feel like starting work just yet I would start a thread of the best trade you ever made. This is not about how little money you spent on an item but the best even trade you made.

In 1990 or maybe 1991 I traded a whole binder of 1990 Pro set and score football cards for 1 Jerry Rice rookie card. At the time the dealer made out because the cards were all of high potential rookies. But today I don't think I would be able to trade that binder for a stack of empty top loaders.

In the late 70's or early 80's I got one of the first Sony Walkman. It was FM only. I used it for 6-8 months and then traded it for a 1975 Topps set. I still have that set in my collection! I have a feeling the guy I traded with is not still using that FM Walkman!

Before the days of price guides or ebay my friends and I use to trade players by comparing their stats. I once traded a Mats Naslund OPC rookie for a Mario Lemieux OPC rookie. The kid I traded with is still one of my closest friends...I rub it in ever so often.

More recent.. I tried 1 1951 Red Back PSA 8 for 4 1951 Red Back PSA 8... I later bought the one I traded for $30.. The guy approached me for the deal..

Older -- the "Piston Card" from the 1989 - 90 Hoops, for a complete set of the 1987/88 Fleer Basketball. Later I got the Jordan Graded and it came back a 9.
