Thanks guys. I will plan to stay up as late as I can then.
  • Just dropped my high bid in on the card I was watching. Let's hope it holds up. Good Luck tonight, I am not staying up.
  • 6AM. Good LUCK

I too just did what you did. I will see how it plays out. The bidding had already reached my max so I thought I should jump in now.

good luck everyone....don't bid on my lots

I am officially out. The 74 Topps Ron Santo PSA 10 that I was bidding on is currently at 978 plus the juice so that is way too much for a 1974 card. It is a pop 1 but most likely not forever. Crazy bidding around his untimely death.

Fritsch opens his warehouse and it won't even be a pop 10.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • I'm still hanging tough, although I am at my max right now. The next bid and I will be out.

Amazing that its at your max bid, I hate when that happens.

I'm already out on a couple and at or near my max on a few others. I really was hoping to hit a few, but since they're all just upgrades, I can't justify spending stupid money on examples that are really stellar for the grade. Here's hoping that I get to write a check for at least a few of them...

I estimate it will end between 4:15 AM and 4:30 AM EST. I bid on some stuff early, but the items seem to have gone higher than I'd like to go at this time.

  • Outbid on everything, don't know what to do with all this money now. I might just donate it to a charity, anyone have any suggestions?

  • just woke up to go pee and saw i lost 3 for 3 on my auctions. I went 30 percent over high vcp too! Whats going on?
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,145 ✭✭✭
not all cards went over vcp.....maybe they were nice for the grade?
  • I woke up to the good news that I won the lot that I had put a bid on, and under VCP average as well. Quite happy about that.

I wish I had won that 47 Sports Exchange, it was a 1 of 1, the only one graded. But it went for more than I thought that card was worth. I won the 52 Berk Ross PSA 7.

Cool!!! Does that mean I can get my '6' back??

Just put it up on the BST boards as a matter of fact. image

LOL! Don't forget, I know what you paid for it! Anyway, when it comes in, if you still have it, hold it side by side with the '7'. You will see the same dilemma I had when I held it side by side with the '8'. I think I got a pretty good feel for what the graders look for when they grade cards, but those Berk Ross's completely have me dumbfounded.....

I agree Bobby, There is a lot of subjectivity on the Berk Ross grading. That 6 you sold me is damn nice, hence the price I am asking, I will keep the card, rather than give it away, those cards aren't easy to come by.

  • Did anyone win the 86 fleer basketball box? "Only" $8,500. Plus buyers premium I imagine.

Those hockey vending boxes from 71 to 74 would be fun to break.

There was more hockey than basketball.
