Houston Show Report & Swiss NEWPS

Well it didn't look so good for the dealers, kind of slow compared to last year I thought. Todd (Blueccphotos) was neck deep in slabs shooting pictures though so I think he had a pretty good show. I got to meet some new people and see a couple I have not seen for a while, Dizzlecc, Aaron from Lancaster Coin had some nice world coins, Craig from Numis Europa had a decent assortment of very nice early Swiss although he had a bigger batch of ancients, met Charmy (Penny Lady) for the first time and she is a very pleasant person to talk with, if you collect US coper I would highly recommend her as she has an excellent selection.
This is one Todd imaged for me, a Charles II Pattern Halfpenny in PF58.

This 1895 Winterthur (Zurich) was raw from Numis Europa:

And the 1896 Geneva was raw from Lancaster Coin:

That is a marvelous design.
BTW it seemed when I lived in Houston back in the '90's that coin shows were few and far betwixt. It was kind of funny how hard it was to find nice coins down there. Gees, and I had a very well paying job with a petro-chemical firm there and lots of cash to spend(this was pre-wife, and large family days).
