1945-S PCGS MS65FB Mercury Dime--$145
A gorgeous coin with rainbow target toning covering the obverse, and light color on the reverse. Both sides have lots of frosty lustre, making this an extremely attractive piece. I paid $142 for this in June of 2009.
1964-D PCGS MS65 Washington Quarter--$40
A coin dripping in lustre with bright yellow, orange, and purple covering the obverse and a bright white reverse. There is a print on the obverse, though it's not very distracting unless the side is lit in a way such that no lustre and no color is seen--you won't look at the coin that way.
1945 NGC (fatty) MS65 Walking Liberty Half Dollar--$100HOLD
The Walker is very lustrous, with light, pearly toning throughout (perhaps a bit less bold than the pictures show). There is also some gold mixed in, as well as some deep color around the lower reverse periphery. Most white coins on Heritage are trading $89-$94, and I dare say this coin is nicer than a white one.
1958-D PCGS MS65FBL Franklin Half Dollar--$150
Wowzers! The reverse of this piece is exceptional, with extremely bold color on the upper half, and lighter color, with lots of green, at the bottom (it's unfortunately difficult to photograph the color on the bottom half). The obverse has a mix of green, pink, and orange.
1880-S PCGS MS64PL Morgan Dollar--$135HOLD
A superb example with thick frost on both sides and great mirrors. The obverse is a solid cameo DMPL, while the reverse doesn't quite make it. Overall, it's a great piece with a strong cameo look. This piece is priced in between Heritage trends for a 64PL and 64DMPL; I paid $200 for it around 4 years ago. The first reverse picture makes the fields look flatter than they are... they're nice, PL fields. DMPLs are going for $250+ on Heritage, and PLs mostly in the 100-$130 range.
1921-D US Rare Coin Certification & Trading Co., Inc MS64 Morgan Dollar--HOLD
A very lustrous coin with a ton of die cracks on both sides and very light golden toning. The big white marks, especially in front of the bust, look like some mis-placed slab plastic. In a neat, large holder with an easy-to-remember abbreviation... USRCC&TCI. How could you forget that? There's a bit of friction on the obverse, which could make the coin AU, but I'd think it MS62/63.
1922 PCGS MS65 Peace Dollar--HOLD
A beautiful piece with lots of golden orange toning on the obverse. The reverse is white with a frosty eagle and bright lustre. The obverse photo doesn't quite show the lustre well enough, and I think the color is a tad deeper.
1952 NGC (green fatty) MS65 Washington/Carver Half--$65HOLD
very lustrous, with some neon colors throughout the obverse, and light mottled toning on the reverse.
1982-S NGC PF69UCAM Washington Half Dollar--$12
Frosty and flashy. There's a bit of haze around the peripheries; when the mirrors are lit, shows up as gold on the reverse.
2000 US Mint Coin & Currency Set--$55
With the original packing, this set has a 2000 Silver Eagle, 2000-D Sac, and series 1999 dollar bill (serial 20002101A).
