1975 Topps almost complete set

I picked up a binder of 1975 Topps cards over the weekend for very cheap. All the cards are in near mint- mint condition. The person who had them took very good care of them. I tried to post pictures of them but either I am too stupid to do it right or something is not working to let me post them. I vote for the latter but the jury is always out on that. The set has all of the big cards except the big 4 (Brett, Yount, Ryan and Rice). If one was to try and sell it would it be better to sell it as a whole near complete set or break it down by teams and sell the near complete team sets. I actually do have the Yount and Brett that i could add if I was to sell it as a near complete set. Would would the board do???

  • Nice pick up. Since you have 2 of the 4 that are missing I would get the other 2 and market it as complete.

I still would be missing about 30 common cards. I was debating whether I should try to complete it or leave it as it is.

If you break it up into team sets, pm me about the atlanta braves.

I think you could sell it without the big 4 or with them. This is my reasoning....if the rest of the set is real nice....I think most would like to hand pick the big 4. If they are of PSA 8 type quality but not well centered they would get replaced anyway. Centering is the key with the rest of your set.

My big 4 includes Aaron. Try finding a solid NM-MT and centered. Tougher than the Brett and Yount.

I'd be interested in the set without the big 4. LMK if you decide to sell as is please.
