Looking for a little selling advice

I've decided to part with my 1968 Baseball set, and I'm not sure which way to go with this. The set is a solid ExMt-NrMt (probably 40-60), with perhaps 10-15 cards in Ex at worst, but here's the dilemma:

The Ryan is graded (SGC 88) , and I'm not sure that including it with this raw set (even though the set is pretty nice) is a good move from the standpoint of maximizing my return. Am I better off:

a) Including the Ryan
b) selling the Ryan separately, and listing the set as 597/598
c) grabbing an ExMt (at best) Ryan to include in the raw set and selling the graded one separately?

A few of the key cards are graded (6's-8's ), but I also have Ex raw ones, so I'm also debating the same thing with these.

    If it were me I would probably sell the Ryan seperately and buying a lesser graded one for the set. The last thing I would do is sell a set that is missing 1 card, especially the biggest card in the set. JMHO

    The SGC 88 Ryan would likely get lost in the shuffle if you include it in the set. I would go with plan C, and not worry so much about he commons that grade 6 - 8 because 8s arent really scarce in the 1968 set (unless they are low pops or HOFers) and it sounds like they fit in with the general condition of the set.

    If you can replace the graded cards with raw examples you already have (other than the Ryan) I would just do that. Sell the graded stuff individually. Find a matching raw Ryan that fits the rest of the set and sell it complete - raw. jmo

    I agree with hhmag - replace the graded cards if you have raw versions (you'll still get something for the graded ones) and get a raw Ryan that fits in with your set. The graded Ryan will do much better on its own than with the set. Good luck with your sale.

    I tend to agree with nam and cwazzy on Option C. Sell the highly graded Ryan separately. Keep the other graded cards with the set and find a lesser graded Ryan to replace. I have to say that it seems to be a buyers market right now (isn't everything?). It may make sense to hold on for awhile.
