A couple of recent BST buys for my 1972 Topps baseball set

I thought I would share a couple of recent purchases I made on our very own BST forum recently. The seller was btcarfa.gno (the period is there because f a g is a forbidden word) and the cards were very carefully packaged and shipped super fast.

I'm not in love with the centering on the Kaline, but it was a hard price to turn down, so I bought the holder. image

Thanks again Tom, and here they are.

Probably, since the left border looks a little funky.

Nice cards, you have to really scrutinize the Kaline to be unhappy. A quick look and they look just fine to me. Thumbs up.

They are both overgraded by 4 full grades, possibly 4.5 on the Kaline.
  • Lee, they use a different grading scale for cards than they do for beer coasters.
  • Nice pickups Nick

Nick ... nice pick ups. What cards do you still need for your set? Are you looking for all "9s"?

  • Nice pick up and just looked at your Registry Set of 72's. Very nice and good luck with finishing the set.

Outstanding cards!!! The Kaline doesn't really have that bad of centering.

I have it updated in my signature line Matt.

  • Nice pickups. I don't know how long you have been actively collecting the 72's but with the set being 787 cards I think you are really doing quite well so far.

    this!

88+% is amazing on such a large set! Not to mention that the '72 set marked the end of series releases
