Proof Silver Eagles $50 each Good deal or not a good deal?

This past weekend with silver being 23+ I was hesitant about buying. I found some (40) proof silver eagles in the original package - all different dates. Quoted $50 each. I grabbed them. So I pass on 23+ bullion and purchase proof at twice bullion value. Getting the collector itch again I guess.

    Strong collector base on these. And without an issue last year I suspect many of them are chomping at the bit for a graded 2010. I'm in for 100.

    When gold and silver move together, it signals the coming end of fiat money.
