    I never got past the 1797.....Wow I would say it's like looking at a museum's quility collection but they are much better than any museum I know of.

    That is, by far, the nicest Draped Bust, small eagle half dollar I've ever seen. We will need much larger pictures of all of them.

    It was a type set that broke up 5 or 6 years ago. I don't believe it was near the quality of the Knoxville Collection, however.

    Because it hasn't been submitted

    As a side note, the 1837 has and received the CAC sticker - it's just not on the holder as pictured. Recently, I downgraded two NGC purchases into PCGS + holders. I will only do that when JA and Laura and I all agree the coin was aggressively graded. When we agree with the grade, we will keep it in the holder - and such is the case with the 1837. PCGS will not cross it, but I don't care. image

    Nope. Laura wanted me to buy it, but I just couldn't see paying $100k+ for a MS coin when an equivalent PR could be added for $20k. Not for a mixed type set.

    Why is that 1827 not a 67? Only thing I see is a mark under the wing and some weakness in a couple of the stars.
