Roman Emperor Bronze Question

Hi All!

In addition to collecting Russian Imperial coins, I also have a smallish 25 coin collection of Roman Imperial material. I was thinking that I would like to start a collection of coins with one bronze follis of each emperor. I have had a hard time finding a guide book to use as a reference for identification and completeness of the collection. Any suggestions?

Nick

Many people have started out with Sear's Roman Coins and Their Values.

I heartily recommend FORVM Ancient Coins, which has a number of free resources (including a number of out-of-print books available via PDF downloads).

There is Wildwinds.com for attribution, too.

One nice thing about Roman Imperial coin collecting is that there is a wealth of information available for free online.

The Sear reference Harasha mentioned is fine- I have an outdated copy of it myself, but find I can practically get by without actually buying any books. Of course it's nice to also have the actual books on one's shelf.
