Does Target still Sell Baseball Cards?

I was at a California Target recently and wanted to purchase a blaster box of Bowman Baseball Draft Picks and Prospects with my gift card. To my horror, the card section was tiny to what it once was. There were very very few sportscards and only some magic cards.

Suffice it to say that there was nothing to buy. Is Target not going to carry these cards any longer? The Target employees did not know the answer either. I would have been happy with Bowman Draft Picks, Topps Heritage or Allen & Ginter, but none were available. This is upsetting.

The Targets in CT still sell Topps, Tops Heritage and A+G. There are a couple of other crappier sets like Topps Attacks as well

Yes, they still sell them but finding Bowman products from this year is nearly impossible.

The section is smaller because there are less brands out these days. The days of having a new Donruss or Fleer brand every week are long gone.

thank god some of that crap is gone!

and yes the Target's in the Chicagoland area still sell packs and blasters.

  • The targets here still have pretty large sections, many stores scaled them back because of theft and damage. As far as finding Bowman stuff goes its very tough. I did find 2 packs the other day in Longview but that was it.

Bowman products have been selling out rapidly just about everywhere. I've seen A&G still sitting on the shelves in South FL, but Heritage and several other brands are long gone.

I could be wrong as I don't follow baseball as much but I don't think they made a Draft Picks and Prospects set this year.
