What kind of money order should I request from a Canadian buyer?

Is there a certain type of money order or cashier's check I should request from a Canadian buyer? It seems like some sellers request only a certain type for one reason or another.

Thanks in advance.

I've never had any trouble cashing Canada Post money orders at my local bank. They're the equivalent of a U.S.P.S. postal money order.

I asked my bank the same question awhile back. They told me to tell him to make sure it's an international MO (whatever that means) and that it's in USD

Yup, international MO in US dollars is correct.

in my opinion, you should never trust a Canadian.

    hi Trent!

edit: so as not be a complete doo-doo disturber, Canada Post MO should be just fine.

This is even more important when buying a money order for Canada.

If that is the case, (I know it is not here), then make sure you get a Postal Money Order, and tell them it is for Canada.
