<< <i>Just curious - aside from the zero feedback and the same old tired "I don't know anything about cards" story, what about the card itself would show that it is fake? >>
The card has too much gloss, and the condition is too good, to be an original. These are the tell-tale signs of a commonly available reprint. This card is very rare in high grade, the vast majority of known specimens show significant wear.
This card appears to be in mint condition, although the quality of the photo is (likely intentionally) insufficient to be sure.
Fewer than 10 PSA 9/10 cards of this issue are known.
If this card were PSA graded 9 or 10, it would be worth in the range of $70,000 - $85,000 - not a likely item from a zero feedback bidder who claims to know little about baseball cards.
