  I'm thinking it was a 1978 set, But if it is 87 for 75 bucks i have 10 sets myself.

  Thank you Corvette1340! I forgot to mention in the OP that this is a woodgrainless variation, somewhat similar to the 82T blackless variation. The black on the 87's is fine, they just forgot to sport the wood.
