1992 Donruss Update - where they in factory sets?

How did the 1992 Donruss Update originally come? Where they in in packs, regular factory sets, or there own factory set? Thanks.

(psst - I need a Brian Jordan)

Red factory sets with the Update sticker. McGwire is also in there in his first Cards uni. You get 4 Update cards per set.

    Thanks for the info.

CD - you had the right premise because this Brian Jordan is for my team sets. However, Mac did join the Cardinals in 1997.

Is Donruss Update the same as Donruss The Rookies? If so it came in wax.

Was the whole set included in the red factory sets or just a few cards? What are the chances I could pull a Brian Jordan if the whole set was not included?

Broke out the big SCD....22 card update set, 4 per factory set.

1:5.5 of getting a particular card.

Yeah my fault, McGwire is in the update set though. Not sure why.

I am almost positive I have some of the updates you are talking about...have to look for them....if I remember right they were a blue color card....

The Update cards look just like the base cards. The only difference is the numbering on the back. They've got a mix of "Rated Rookies", "Highlights", and cards of traded players.

Only 4 per factory set. Sucks!

No, I did not see that. My search is for "Update" so I missed it. Not sure if I would have wanted the signed version in my team set collection, though.

    Save your search like this:

(1992, 92) donruss brian jordan -phenoms

There are only two types of 1992 Donruss Brian Jordans, the Phenoms one and the Update one. If you search specifically for an Update, you'll miss anyone who didn't know what the Update set was. Honestly, I didn't know that there was a factory-only 1992 Donruss Update set until a few years ago when I was looking for some missing Giants cards. I always thought that the Donruss "Update" set was the little set of inserts that came in 1992 Donruss packs.
