Expert Opinions on '64 Niekro Needed

Simple question to the gentlemen of the boards. Will this Phil be graded OC? Not too bad of a card other than that. Thank you. Doug

    Probably going to get a qualifier unless it goes a straight '7'.

    agree with 7, however, if the card is that strong, a 9OC could make it potentially more valuable.

    I never want to say a card is a "9" before sending it in, especially the older stuff, but my first thought looking it over was 9OC. The corners are sharp.

    Straight 7... beautiful card even with the centering.

    Centering looks good enough to me for a 7.5...nice card.

    I think it pulls an 8 if everything else on the card is good. I've seen way worse centered 8's.

    I agree. Just eye-balling it I thought it definitely had a chance at 8. Did a rudimentary pixel count and it came out at 63/37. Go for it.

    A solid seven. No chance for an eight.

    To bolster my argument, I think the Niekro looks similar to this card out of my collection. I'm not saying it's a strong 8, but I think it's got a chance at an 8 holder.
