Ripken 2001 All Star Game Ball; Unique

I know I posted scans of this ball a year ago, but since tonight is the MLB All Star Game, I thought it was worthy of another post.....This is a ball signed by game MVP Cal Ripken Jr. on an Official 2001 All Star Game ball, but one year when former ESPN anchor Charley Steiner was broadcasting for the Yankees, I had him sign this ball as well, with his iconic call of that Ripken HR.."Did He Do It?, Did He Do It?.....He Did!"....I've seen that particular clip played 5-6 times in the past couple day alone..

Anyways enjoy the game tonight!

    I was at that game...sitting in the first row behind the bullpen in left field. If I remember correctly, the ball landed in the bullpen. I remember bugging Jack McDowell for a home run ball when he was warming up...I believe it was the one Ripken hit. Of course, McDowell was not hearing any of it.

    I know...I heard it had something to do with a shortage of green thread....An UNsigned ball will go for $70 plus on eBay
