Just bought this. Good deal?

I am not a modern card expert. Pedroia is my son's favorite player. The guy was asking $300. I offer $150 not expecting him to take it but he did. I will get it slabbed and give it to my son for Christmas. Was $150 a good price? It is a 1/1.

IMO it's priceless since you are giving it to your son.

Yeah I think you did good.

(regardless of what it's true (whatever that is) market value is.

I agree with Steve, your giving it to your son who will love it. That makes it priceless. Nice pickup!

    Yeah...like the Mastercard commercial:

    1 of 1 patch card, $150

Giving it as a present to someone you love, priceless.

I agree. You got it for a price you are happy with and its for your son. That alone makes it priceless.

    Congrats.

Nice - card. Agree with the others. I have the W from JD Drew from the same set. I think $150-200 was the going rate for these at one point.

    Very cool card.

The All-Star booklet cards that unfold and have the complete all-star patch I think are the coolest baseball cards.

Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

I can guess your son's first words when you give it to him:

I have disdain for those game used patches, but having the whole letter is really cool - first time I've seen that.

i agree it's a wonderful present, whatever is the market value.

Looks like he might be a power hitter. I hope one day he's on a Topps MLB card. image

He had a good season. In 42 AB's, he was 15 for 30 with 12 walks. He is going to Williamsport next month for a week for baseball camp.
