Gold $100 Elizabeth ll from 1979 and 1980

I believe they are from Canada and are 1oz gold.

Does anyone have one of these? Are they .999?

    I believe that those are 22kt, and net out at half an ounce each.

    Later $100's, after 1984 or so (not sure of exact date), have a lower fineness and net out at a quarter ounce each.

    They are 1/2 oz .9166 fine 22kt as above post. I checked my card with the coinimage

    Ahh, thanks guys! Given the denomination I thought they were a full oz. That would have hurt!
