Does this 65 Mays PSA card look trimmed?

I just bought it from BBCE but in hand it the left and right borders look too narrow. What do you think? Were some 65's cut a little undersized?

    Your card looks fine. I have a raw Giants team set from that year, and the widths vary a little. I even have a 65 Marichal that's too wide. PSA said it was miscut and didn't grade it.

    Yes...been working on the '65 set for nearly two years, and have plenty of slabbed but slightly undersized cards. That's a great looking 7 if you ask me.

    Trimmed, get rid of it quick , I'll give you 10 bucks dlvd.
    a lot of the 61 -75 years were undersized, card looks good be happy they slabbed it, I have a NM MT 61 mays always comes back minsize reg. one of these days I'll get lucky.

    Right edge looks a little weird and bottom right corner looks a little bat-wingy to me. Probably nothing, but I cn see why you are asking.

    Very nice Mays! I built the 65 set in 7 through 9 a few years back.

    Your Mays is a stunner. Would NOT look out of place in an 8 holder.

    Thanks for the responses. The corners look 7ish making me think its OK but it is definitely a little narrower than some other 65s I have. You can see the undersize in the scan if you look at the gap between the card's right edge and the inside edge of the holder.

    When i was building my set it was not out of the ordinary to have some cards smaller than others.

    I had some larger too.

    I wouldn't worry.


    If you are really concerned email Joe and ask him to review it.

    IMO it's probably fine.
