A 707 question.

Levi has a set that he wants $475 obo. I was just wondering if anybody that has dealt with him could estimate how flexible he is with his asking prices in general? Thanks

Let's just say you better be willing to offer $470 on that deal, LOL..

my guess would be , 425 to 440. JMHO. I have 1 clown that offers me 30% of list and just for giggles I offered back 60%, and he acted liked I had insulted him. geez. yea yea I know , I have already blocked him from ever bidding or offering again.
Good Luck!

With my couple of dealings with him on best offers I would say this is in line with what he did for me, but it all depends on how much he actually has into the set and if he has others.

I think Levi lists his direct email address right in his listings. Avoid the asking the seller a question link on ebay.
Give it a shot, it can't hurt. I've always found Levi easy to wheel and deal with.

Too bad, because even $85 was a bit too high, but his card was centered pretty nicely. (1973 Topps Baseball #588 PSA 8)
<< <i> I would never buy anything from him. All of his listings are overpriced. >>
+1
When we are apparently in a "down" economy and cards are setting record lows all the time, somehow he doesn't budge or tries to set a new record high on every single card. He can keep them as far as I'm concerned!

Maybe not. He had a card for $105 I wanted. Completed auctions were in the $65-$75 range so I offered $80. He countered with $104.
He has some incredible stuff!
<< <i>He doesn't have anything so rare, that you can't find it more reasonable somewhere else. >>
Exactly--couldn't agree more.
In my experience, his counteroffers are at most 10% off original BIN, and this is for cards that he's been sitting on for over a year. He's a great guy, very helpful, and can set whatever price he wants, but I've always been able to find the card in the grade I want elsewhere for MUCH lower prices.

yes this is true, but when buying from Levi, you know it is genuine, you know he is honest, and if you get the chance to talk to him he has a lot of information that is valuable, and as someone else said take it off ebay and save him some fees and probably save yourself some money. When I had my store, I always cut the Cash paying customers a better break than the credit card customer, same goes for postal money orders vs paypal. Cash is still king.
remember 500.00 BIN on ebay means ebay gets $31.50 paypal gets 14.80 total 46.30 to ebay & paypal. seller gets 453.70 minus the listing fee. if it was an auction that same 500 = out to 59.80 to PP & EB and seller gets 440.20 minus listing fees. JMHO
