Anyone ever dealt with WHERETHEYAIN'T??

Just curious as to whether anyone on here have dealt with these guys before? It seems like alot of their cards are priced high, and the few that are priced fair, once you email them about them, the cards are always "not available, already sold, etc."..........I heard a rumor that alot of their cards on their site, they don't even own. Basically they wait for someone to buy the card, then they in turn find it for less and pocket the difference. Explains why they don't have pics of their cards on their site.......just wanted other members thoughts on them as a dealer.......

PS - Just thought about this....that might explain their name....where they ain't (meaning THEY (the cards) AIN'T HERE!

  • Your thoughts are correct. They have been discussed here and other forums numerous times. They use photos of other peoples cards and list them for a higher price. They used to block out the cert #, not sure if they still do. If someone was dumb enough to buy theirs, they would just buy the real card after receiving payment. If the card was already sold, they would just tell the buyer that they were out of stock or the card was sold and the listing was never removed.

    yup. Very unethical, IMO.
But on the upside, if they list a card it usually means someone else has it and if you start searching sites you can usually find it.
