Results of my recent submission.

On Friday June 4 I sent in 19 cards to PSA/DNA on this months $10 autograph authentication special. I also had a voucher for 6 freebies from when I renewed my membership a few months ago. SOOOOO, since I didn't really have much to sub, I figured I'd go thru my raw 1967 set which I have had since the mid 80s. I put it together THE OLD FASHIONED WAY ... card by card ... going to shows almost every Saturday and Sunday when they used to actually HAVE shows! The cards are in 9 pocket plastic sheets in a binder in my closet ... just the way almost EVERYBODY used to keep them! lol

The cards arrived at PSA on Monday June 7 ... were logged in on Tuesday June 8 ... and POPPED and were shipped today. THE FASTEST I have ever had cards POP.

1 VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT 4 1967 TOPPS 569 A.L. ROOKIES R.CAREW/H.ALLEN I thought a 3.5 or 4
2 EXCELLENT 5 1967 TOPPS 581 METS ROOKIES B.DENEHY/T.SEAVER A 5 all the way
3 MINT 9 1967 TOPPS 580 ROCKY COLAVITO Thought it had a chance but didn't hold my breathe. I am PSYCHED. Does anyone have the VCP on this one?
4 N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1967 TOPPS 355 CARL YASTRZEMSKISurprised, since I have had this for a LONG time. Was hoping for an 8
5 NEAR MINT 7 1967 TOPPS 609 TOMMY JOHN As expected
6 NEAR MINT-MINT+ 8.5 1982 TOPPS TRADED 98T CAL RIPKEN JR.Thought either an 8 or 9. Satisfied.
Total Items: 6
Date Received: 6/8/2010

Overall about what I thought ... considering the results of the Colavito, it more than makes up for the YAZ. HAPPY with the grades.

I'll post my autos when they pop.
STAY HEALTHY!

Thanks to GAMEUSEDHOOPS for PM'ing me with the VCP on the Colavito.

There has only been one sold in the past 10 months and it happens to be the most expensive one sold in the past 3 years ... $660.69 from an eBay auction. THAT makes the sub!

Congrats on your grades. I love that '67 Rocco card. I think it's his best looking card. Good luck with your sale of it. Who did you get that '67 Yaz from?

I have had that '67 set since the 80s ... so I have NO idea. I was surprised because "trimming" was not that common back then.

Jeff ... I would have to say that you are one of the lucky ones. NORMALLY, most of my subs take the maximum submission time or very close to it. That's why I was quite happy when they came back so fast.
