decent pickup? 1980 Kellogg's set

Saw a post on another board a couple nights ago and someone scanned their whole set. Brought back some cool memories so I checked Ebay and there happened to be set ending today. Set a snipe having no idea what these things are worth. Think I got a pretty good deal. Don't even think I had the whole set in 1980. Hopefully they'll be in good shape.

For 13.53 how can you go wrong? Hopefully it's loaded with Yankees for you.

I really loved the 1979 set. I would have been like four years old when it was out, and I have very fond memories of collecting it one card at a time.

Do you have a link to the website you mentioned? I'd love to see it...

It was either Blowout cards or Topps forum. I'll see if I an find the post again when I get home tonight

Nick, my cats told me they wanted the Yankee cards to do their thing on. I'm still considering it

Worth $2 and 2 Box Tops from Raisin Bran image

I must have bought 10-15 sets that year. They came mail order in perforated strips but would fall apart easily so Im sure they are rarely found that way now.

Are they ever sold still in their original mailing box? I sold all my sets that way.

Dont have any left, sold them for about $10 ea back in 1985-90 era........ same with all the Granny Goose and Mothers Cookies sets.
