Bryce Harper Bootleg Cards on Ebay

Bryce Harper racket on ebay. Some guy in the Bronx is making Bryce Harper 1975

Topps retro cards in his basement. He says that only 45 of them have ever been made.

But he is selling a whole bunch of them on ebay at $30 a pop. Then there is this guy in

Canada he buys one of these cards for $7 in April when they were cheaper. He then puts the $7

bootleg card in a Gem Mint 10 holder. He also does this in his basement and then posts it on

ebay for 75 bucks. Capitalism at its finest!

It would've been nice if he had at least gotten the fact that Harper is not a right handed hitter...

How long until Bryce gets the nickname, "The Mormon Masher?"

They are not bootleg cards, they are literally printed by Topps.

But to be clear, they are along the same line as the custom slabbing that PSA does for your kids baseball cards, etc. There is alot of information left from the description that leads buyers to believe something different than what they truly are.

Are you sure PSA wouldn't slab these like the kids cards? It's essentially the same thing. I wonder if they would slab them Authentic?

I made these "bootleg" cards of Harper a year or so ago, but never finished them or printed them:

It seems like they would slab them like the kids cards, but not with the normal red flip. Just based on what I read that is my opinion. I am sure there are people who see the auction and assume that the card is a Topps issue, not a custom creation. I guess that is where the saying caveat emptor comes from.
