While waffle cancelled coins are interesting, I need to question the smarts of a TPG grading it BU! I also do not think it should be termed an error.

If you run a new unused sheet of paper through a shredder isn't it still new and unused after the fact
The error part was escaping the mint just like a die adjustment strike and calling it BU is because these rejects never circulated.
